Import & Export Process
For Importers-Exporters Who Have Not Yet Registered with the Customs Department
1. Register as an importer-exporter with the Customs Department.
2. Partner with a customs brokerage company to handle customs procedures on your behalf.
Import Process
In case the importer is already registered as an importer.
1. Partner with a customs broker to handle customs clearance on your behalf.
2. Prepare the required export documents, including:
2.1 Packing List
2.2 Invoice
2.3 Bill of Lading (B/L)
2.4 Permits from relevant government agencies, such as the Department of Fisheries, Department of Livestock Development, TISI, FDA, etc.
2.5 Benefit entitlement documents (if any)
2.6 Certificate of Origin (C/O)
2.7 Other relevant documents (if any)
3. Submit the information to the customs broker to prepare the import declaration before the vessel arrives at the port.
4. Complete the import clearance process.
5. Deliver the goods to the importer.
2. Prepare the required export documents, including:
2.1 Packing List
2.2 Invoice
2.3 Bill of Lading (B/L)
2.4 Permits from relevant government agencies, such as the Department of Fisheries, Department of Livestock Development, TISI, FDA, etc.
2.5 Benefit entitlement documents (if any)
2.6 Certificate of Origin (C/O)
2.7 Other relevant documents (if any)

4. Complete the import clearance process.
5. Deliver the goods to the importer.
Export Process
In case the exporter is already registered as an exporter.
1. Partner with a customs broker to handle customs clearance procedures.
2. Prepare export documents, including:
2.1 Packing List
2.2 Invoice
2.3 Permits from relevant government agencies, such as the Department of Fisheries, Department of Livestock Development, TISI, FDA, etc.
2.4 Privilege documents (if any)
2.5 Certificate of Origin (C/O)
2.6 Other documents (if any)
3. Book vessel space if the exporter is responsible for freight costs.
4. Prepare goods and ensure all documents are complete before the truck arrives for pickup.
5. Submit information to the customs broker for the preparation of the export declaration.
6. Complete the export customs clearance process.
7. Load goods onto the vessel.
